What is Saving Smart?
Saving Smart is a consumer program that offers savings on a wide variety of items so you can afford the things you need and the things you want! From food and fashion to books, music, car and home needs and more, you can save 5% on gift cards/certificates to top national retailers. Better yet, there’s no limit to the number of gift cards/certificates you can purchase — for any retailer or restaurant — throughout your membership year!

What will I receive if I join Saving Smart?
Once you have completed your online enrollment, you will receive your personal membership identification number that allows you to take advantage of all the money-saving benefits the program offers. You can login with your membership identification number at www.savingsmart.ca. Your membership information will be sent to you via an e-mail welcome letter within 24 hours of your enrollment in the program.
For other types of enrollment, you must wait 7 to 10 business days until your membership material arrives by postal mail to your provided address.

How do I save with Certificate(s)/ GiftCard(s)?
As a member of Saving Smart you may save 5% with Certificate(s)/ GiftCard(s). Certificate(s)/ GiftCard(s) can be purchased either online or by calling Member Savings. For every $25 certificate/GiftCard you purchase through Saving Smart you will pay $23.75. For every $20 certificate/GiftCard you purchase through Saving Smart you will pay $19. For every $10 certificate/GiftCard you purchase through Saving Smart, you will pay $9.50.

Do Certificate(s)/ GiftCard(s) have expiration dates?
Expiration dates on Certificate(s)/ GiftCard(s) vary; however Certificate(s)/ GiftCard(s) are typically good for several months (expiration dates are printed on Certificate(s)/ GiftCard(s)). Unused certificate(s)/ GiftCard(s) cannot be returned for a refund or credit.

Can I return an item after I've paid for it? What is your Refund Policy?
No. Ordered certificates/GiftCards cannot be returned for a refund or credit. We are not responsible for lost of stolen gift certificates/cards once they are delivered.

Is Saving Smart Web site secure?
Yes. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect your credit card information from unauthorized access. When you place an order online and provide required credit card information, the SSL scrambles or encrypts your information before it is sent to us over the Internet. This protects your credit card information from being read while it is transferred over ther Internet. When we receive your order, the information is kept encrypted until we are ready to process your request. In addition, we meet all of the stringent requirements of the Verisign™ security seal for all online transactions.

How do I opt out of receiving future marketing e-mails?
Sign on using your membership ID #, visit our Contact Us page, select "Unsubscribe to future marketing" from the drop-down menu, and email us your request. Please be sure to include your name and membership ID number as well as the email address you would like us to remove from our distribution list. Please note, to ensure you remain as informed as possible on the status of your membership, after opting out you may periodically receive emailed communications regarding benefit order confirmations, program updates and upcoming billing information.

What is your shipping and delivery policy?
Orders are shipped using Canada Post standard service, at no charge, and will arrive between 7 to 10 business days after order date. Orders valued $351 and over are shipped through Puralor services, at no charge, and will arrive within 3 to 5 business days after order date.
